Executor - Runaway

Born a piece of garbage, living life a fleeting dream.

and cherishing every single moment of it.

the long finger of berlin

At a very young age, Kurt found himself stranded on the unforgiving streets of Berlin, where his upbringing had been secured by the one rule even a child at that time understood: survive, no matter what. Steal, lie, gamble — strive for another tomorrow. From sunrise until the beginning of the night, challenge the risk and danger of a life between the worst of society. Kurt lived his early childhood like this, until one fateful day, an incident involving a failed assassination attempt of a notorious necromancer across the landside of Berlin occurred, which forced the hand of the Church to send out a small group of Executors to end any heretic actions. Upon arrival, however, the entire village had been covered by the marks of a battle with no survivors, only corpses that were frozen down to the bone. There were no traces left of the necromancer, neither of the one who attempted the assassination — only an exhausted boy on the verge of passing out. Impressed by this deed, the Executors decided to take the young man into their ranks and sharpen his mind and body to become one of them. This boy, possessing no connections to anyone whatsoever, was the ideal candidate of becoming an Executor.

personality

"If there wasn't luck involved, I would probably win every single time."A seemingly unteachable hedonist with a great fondness of everything he considers beautiful. Materialistic things and relationships to other humans, to him, both do not hold the same value: one is matter in a random shape that is to be taken advantage of with utmost precision, the other may lead into either one's own demise, or an unexpected journey. A gamble he is willing to take. Kurt is therefore an open and curious soul, despite acting non-flexible in certain ways. He is in reality like water. Below the surface, there is a caring individual incapable of completely ignoring injustice and misery brought upon others. He will steal, yes, lie and be violent whenever it is necessary, but he will never inflict these curses upon those who do not deserve or couldn't handle it. Somewhat a Robin Hood type of deal, except he could care less about what happens to the rich afterwards. Sometimes, one may even catch him talking to himself, or any other thing he has set his eyes on.

Abilities

The skillset and wits necessary to make it through a day on the harshest asphalt of the country post post-war economical boom. At that time, the decline of wealth began, old dogmas still lingering in the back of the mind, the infrastructure — despite mostly recovered, still in inexperienced hands. Crimes were thriving in the face of incompetence, and so did the youth adjust to these structures in order to survive. Kurt will take any measure necessary to make it through difficult situations, as well as taking gambles well outside of his own abilities. To him, death is just part of the constant struggle: an unfortunate miscalculation, at most. He would accept it without an ounce of doubt, that is the kind of guy he is.

Kurt practiced Wing Chun (Traditional Chinese: 詠春), a traditional Southern Chinese Kung fu martial art specializing in close range combat. It is one of the most famous styles in wushu. It is known for being economical, direct and efficient. To top it off, Kurt's one is enhanced by magecraft to help him stay on his toes and deal with the occasional job offer rather swiftly, despite his capabilities leaning more onto a defensive style overall.

Mystic Eyes (魔眼, Magan) are a form of supernatural power concentrated in the eyes, granting the power to interfere with the outer world through sight alone. They are the oldest magecraft known to humans, deriving from neither ritual nor study. Kurt possesses the Mystic Eyes of Ice. Anything that enters the vision of these Mystic Eyes undergoes spontaneous freezing. They project a symbol of a circle on the target before deep freezing them. He is also capable of applying it onto a larger area, be it around himself to create projectiles made of ice by freezing the fine droplets of water in the air, or erecting walls and covering floors in a layer of ice.

Fangzahn

It is said to be one of the powerful weapons of the Catholic Church, an apocrypha that shouldn't be removed from its place. It is a Conceptual Weapon, a sword to be specific, Kurt used to be authorized to carry, created thousands of years ago. Fangzahn is the result of removing a claw from the evil dragon that is being described in the old legend of the Nibelungenlied, the Völsunga Saga, and Der Ring der Niebelungen. In Norse mythology and derived tales, Fafnir was originally a dwarf, but overcome with greed for a certain treasure, he transformed into a dragon. He was eventually slain by Sigurd or Siegfried, depending on the tale.Fafnir is caused by the Evil Dragon Phenomenon (悪竜現象, Akuryū Genshō?), which transforms those who exhibit overwhelming greed into him. Because of this Fafnir is not an individual, but a series of Evil Dragons.Siegfried slew him and bathed in his blood to obtain a body close to that of a dragon, Armor of Fafnir. He also took Fafnir's treasure hoard, Das Rheingold. Sigurd slew Fafnir and ate his heart to gain knowledge, the Crystallization of Wisdom represented by his glasses, as well as a magical energy reactor core in the form of Dragon-kind Modification. It is unknown who exactly defeated the evil dragon that is common to their legends, and it is even possible that both defeated "different" dragons created by the Evil Dragon Phenomenon.Fangzahn utilises a similar ability as Siegfried's Armor of Fafnir, which renders any physical attacks or magic equivalent (including Noble Phantasms) of B-rank or lower as ineffective when blocked by the blade. Furthermore Kurt allowed himself to modify the weapon more to his liking and make it turn into gauntlets to accentuate his martial arts prowess. A near indestructable weapon.
